Is The Water Delivery Really Free
Yes, although we charge for the water that is delivered there is no cost in the delivery at all. If you live
in any of our delivery areas then you can have water delivered right to your cooler at no extra cost.
We have three bottling plants and a total of 14 Delivery / delivery agents delivering to the following Areas
- We delivery to all 4 major sections of Auckland, South, East, West and North.
Our delivery area start way down at Waiuku / Pukekohe and stretches all the way up to Orewa / Silverdale and every street in between.
- The hamilton area is from Waiuku, through Huntly, into Hamilton, out to Cambridge, and back into Te-Awamutu.
If you are in or around any of these areas then we can deliver to you.
- Wellington, the original home of the Big Blue head office has a delivery area covering Manawatu, Horowhenua, Kapiti, Wairarapa and all the Wellington suburbs including Wellington CBD
- We delivery throughout the entire Christchurch area.
You certainly can, although we only have 3 bottling plants, we have another 21 service agents spread all over New
Zealand who can install one of our
free flow coolers in your home or office and then maintain that cooler for you.
It doesn't matter which area you live, all you have to do is contact us on 0800 BIG BLUE or by using the
Contact Section of the site, and we will take care of the rest. Our clients
stretch from Kaitai to Gisborne to New Plymouth, to Blenhim To Greymouth and right down to Bluff.
Each area has its own delivery day of the week and just like your rubbish collection it very rarely changes. When you team up
with Big Blue we will assign you a Delivery Manager, A Delivery Driver, A Service Tech and we will place you on one of our
delivery cycles based on where your cooler is located. As an Example, if your cooler was located in Ponsonby Auckland, your
delivery manager would be Joel, your delivery driver would be Nacho, your service tech would be Daniel and your water would be
delivered either every Tuesday or every second Tuesday.
Our delivery cycles are set on a fortnightly rotation and most customers find this to be ideal but
if you think you will go through a lot of water we can just as easily deliver once a week, or if you feel that you wont use
very much water then you can make your deliveries once a month.
Of course if you are planning an event and think that you will need extra water, this can be quickly arranged as a separate delivery
at no extra charge by using our
online water order form.
Our entire focus is on making sure you always have clean cool water to drink, our PDAs monitor your average water use, and previous deliveries
and recommends to the drivers how much water should be delivered on each visit.
We assign you only one delivery driver so that he or she can personally
get to know you, your company and your water needs, and all our drivers know that if they are not certain they should leave an extra bottle, after all
if you don’t use it, they can just deliver one less bottle next week.
Even with all the effort we put into making sure you have plenty of water to drink, we know that from time to time disaster may strike, and we have procedures in place
that allow us to get water to you quickly. You can place a
special request online or call 0800 BIG BLUE with your customer number.
As soon as your order is received your Delivery Manager is alerted to your outage, and the water delivery order is instantly made. Your delivery manager will bring up our GPS tracker
and enter in your address to see which delivery agent or service tech is closet to you, or if it will be faster to send someone directly from base.
Once the closet driver has been located, the order is pushed onto his or her PDA and moved to the top of their order list, an electronic text is sent to the driver to alert him of the
new water delivery and its urgency then your delivery manager will place a follow up call to the driver after 5 mins to ensure the order has been received correctly.
Although we closely monitor the number of special requests we watch the time it takes for a driver to receive a special request and then to make the delivery even more closely.
